The rink offers public skating sessions throughout the week, with term-time weekday sessions lasting a generous 2 hours (except the final session at 1.5 hours), whilst weekend and holiday sessions run for 1.5 hours. The ice is meticulously cleared and resurfaced between every session, ensuring optimal skating conditions. Beyond public skating, the venue provides Learn to Skate classes for all standards and private one-on-one lessons for those wanting personalised instruction. The rink is also home to the Harringay Huskies ice hockey team, with matches offering affordable family entertainment complete with a bar.

Children from as young as 3 years old can take to the ice, with special pricing for under 5s (£8.50) and under 12s (£10-£11). For little ones needing extra support, three types of skate aids are available: Seals for under 5s (pushed by an adult), Penguins for ages 3-7, and Snowmen for ages 8+, all priced at £7.50 each. The venue is fully inclusive, offering accessible tickets and essential companion options at discounted rates. Standard adult tickets range from £11-£12 depending on peak times, with concessions available for over 65s.

Practical amenities make visits stress-free for families. The on-site East Court Café serves lovely food and refreshments, perfect for warming up after your skate. Easy parking is available at reasonable prices at Alexandra Palace, and the rental skates are surprisingly good quality according to regular visitors. Spectators are welcome with ticket purchase (£2.50-£3.00), so family members can watch from the comfort of the viewing area.
